Why You Need A Change

Do you feel listless and a little bit bewildered about how your life is turning out? Is there a sense of discontentment eating away at your innards, just gnawing away at all the joy that you’ve got inside of you? Do you feel clumsy or inadequate most of the time?

Many individuals out there do not always wlecome the idea of a change. A change is perceived by many of us as dangerous. Thsi si because we like the status quo. Change requires aspiring; it requires some input from us. And we are simply not ready to give chnage all that it requires. However, a chang might be all what you need if you are foten dissatified with life and events.

Many of us usually don’t take time out to think on what and what needs to be chnaged in our lives. We tend to do or say some thinsg that are very detrimental to us. These things do not bring out the best out of us, rather they make us depressed and suscpetible to giving up. We should relaize that we can become better if we choose to let go of soem things. IN other words, the earlier we embrace change, the better we can become.
You may want to change those things that you think are hindrances to your goals in life. There are several areas and ways that you can effect a change in your life.

One of the areas you should conisder a change is your work. For instance, a change of job may be all you need if you discover that you are no longer getting the much needed job satisfaction that you want in your present job. Also, you may need to consider changing some of your friends that are not helping you to become a better person and reach your goals. In short, you need to identify whatever is hindering you in your work or work place and completely do away with them. you must not let emotion rule you. Take the bull by the horn.

Another area you should consider a change is in your home. Your home is more than a decorating place. It should be a place to provide the calm and balance you need after a day’s hard work. Instead of doing all the house chores yourself, you may have to employ a nanny to help you with some of them.

Also, you may need to get a nice hairdo that will make you look great. What I am saying is that you should think of what is standing in your way of happiness and get rid of them if you can. If you can, you may have to introduce a change into it.

The Olympian Attitude - What If We All Had One

The 2012 London Olympics are over and what a great demonstration of human achievement and determination.

So at some point the question arose: what characteristics do sportsman have that takes them all the way to the Olympics and win. I started thinking about this a little bit and here is what I came up with

#1 They are goal orientated:They have goals that they set for themselves (ex I want to run the 100m in 9.70 by January 2012).

#2 They are focused: after they set their  goals they focus relentlessly on their goals and don’t allow distractions to shift their focus

#3 They have immense determination: because they believe in their success and they are not quitters. I think doing sport teaches you this trait. They don’t quit, even if it hurts, get injured, lose, its hard, because they know that success doesn’t come easily and only comes to those who work for it.

#4 Work ethic: they are conscious that results are achieved only through hard work.  Results are achieved only through hard work. No excuses. If it rains, its hard, not in the mood, tired, and all those excuses people tell themselves.

SO , how would our lives be different if we all had an Olympian attitude:
I think if you set goals for yourself(which the majority of people don’t do) focus on your plans and have immense determination and work hard for it, I think your life would be waaaay different.
All in all there its no rocket science. Talking about it is not doing it. The doing part is the hard part, that’s why so many people quit, but Olympians don’t quit, because that’s why they are Olympians.

I wish that every one of you would develop an Olympian attitude and achieve everything you set your mind to

3 Effective ways to release stress Quickly

Very often we tend to carry over the stress from yesterday to our present day. This is a commonly observed behavior  resulting in high stress levels. Learning and knowing how to “let go” of the stress accumulated is a MUST in this fast moving world.

So here are 3 Effective ways to release stress Quickly

- Stress releaseTip #1

Resolve right now to release every thought from yesterday and be only mindful of the now…. this thought only...this breath...this moment. Take in three very deep breaths and slowly release each one.

At the same time feel each and every concern, each and every problem, and each and every unresolved moment, begin to dissolve. You can deal with them at a later time. For now, you are only to be in this very moment.

Now go to your inner quiet place. Go deep inside to a place where you feel that you are at peace and then just relax and breathe in deeply and enjoy the feeling of being at one and at peace within yourself.

Use this special time and place to be calm. Free your mind and body of all worry, all regret, all disappointment, all anger and grief.

- Stress release Tip #2

Next, think of one particular act, such as rocking your baby, taking a quick stroll, raking the leaves, and do that one simple thing. All the while, your mind is quiet and calm and you are in your own special place within.

Practice this act of quiet and calm each day and you will see that you will accomplish so much more. At the first sign of being stressed, go back to this mindful, quiet place and start all over again until you have reached your inner place of calm.

- Stressrelease Tip #3

The very best thing that you can do for yourself is to eat, drink and rest – to your health!

Stress is easily brought on by not eating and drinking properly. When you don’t get the number of hours of sleep that you need each night, you are only setting yourself up for additional stress.

Limit the amount of salt, sugar, caffeine and alcohol in your diet. Drink plenty of clean, pure water each day and do at least moderate exercise each day. This will breathe new life into your skin, hair and will nourish all of your vital organs.

Take time to breathe properly! Take deep belly breathes to send pure oxygen to all of your body. Laugh and then laugh some more. It is food for the soul! Spend time doing the things that please you most. Engage in healthy and fulfilling relationships and work on problems that would erode the closeness that you have with someone special.

When we are content and living a balanced life everyday stresses seem to pale in comparison. We are better equipped to deal with the unexpected.

You can take control today! Isolate only one particular stressor in your life and then work on it until you regain control. At the very least, have some new hope!

I know that these Quick and Easy steps sound too easy or corny, or you heard them before but the matter of fact is that they work. I doesn’t take much of your  time, really. I can bet that you know these thing but still not doing it. Have a go at it, do it for a couple of weeks and I am sure you will have the results you were expecting

Becoming The Leader You Need To Be To Succeed

An important part of success in life is the ability to lead. It is important that we not only be able to lead others but be willing to lead ourselves. No one succeeds in life by simply following others. Sometimes we simply must strike a bold new path for ourselves.

Being a good leader is more than simply being at the forefront of the crowd. A leader must act. A leader must produce results. That is the new currency that leaders are measured in: whether they produce results or not.

However, in order to become good leaders ourselves, we need to concentrate on actions rather than simple appearances. In this article i`m going to show you a couple of steps that you need to take in order to become a leader. A word of Warning: these are not steps that you take and you are "there", finished, you are a leader. NO!! The steps are actions, actions that we must make regularly, leadership is a behavior, an attitude a mentality.

First, be alert to new potentials. "Reality" is not absolute but rather subject to constant change. Think about inventors, explorers, and agents of social change who have achieved greatness. Some might simply say that certain people are successful because they are lucky to be in the right place at the right time. Maybe so, but if they hadn't had their eyes open for the opportunity, then it wouldn't have mattered if they were in the right place.

Second, accept inspiration from wherever it comes; even your opponents. The wisest leaders constantly study their competition. In war, politics, and business we constantly see examples of this research and reconnaissance. Too many times though a certain study, many concentrate on finding a weakness to exploit. If you want to a be a leader of positive change don't fall victim to this trend. Instead, if you find a weakness, make sure to avoid that pitfall yourself. If you find the strength then find a way to strengthen your own qualities to match.

Third, learn something new and promote in new ways every day. This means you must continually seek to expand your horizons, internally and externally. Feed your mind with new lessons and knowledge, but constantly expand your social horizons as well. Seek out and meet new people and immerse yourself in new social situations. You never know when these new experiences will help you in your leadership role.

Fourth, search for and find answers in subtle clues. Look beneath the surface and constantly question. This is an extension of the third step in that you are seeking new knowledge. But this also means that you will need to step off the traditional paths of knowledge. Don't simply read books in the literary canon or the bestsellers list. Take seminars rather than classes as there is more room for questioning and debate. Seek out the unconventional thinkers, teachers, and writers.

Fifth, improvise if no existing solutions are available. No excuses. Necessity is the mother of invention. How do you know it won't work if you've never tried it before? Remember, not all approaches need to come from the front. Look at your problem from all sides and systematically attempt different solutions in various combinations.

Six, make at least one person you care about happy every day. If you make it a point to be thoughtful and caring for one person every day then soon this thoughtful, caring behavior will become a habit and that habit will spread to the others around you. Making someone else happy also feeds your own personal happiness. Just imagine how much better the world would be if we all did a little bit more to spread happiness.

Seven, offer help, even if there's no apparent advantage to you. This means more than writing a check. It means giving of your time and energy and yourself. Sometimes it will mean helping someone you don't know and sometimes it can be a very personal action.

Finally, never let negativity be your last word on the subject. If your final words are negative than no matter how hopeful you may be about the potential of a project or action the lasting impression you give to others is one of negativity. Accentuate the positive and you are more likely to see a positive outcome.
